国家发展改革委表示，我国将在人口超过100万的城市中选取约100个城市作为试点城市，先行开展儿童友好城市建设试点。在建设过程中，要充分发挥地方政府的主体作用，注重差异化建设路径和建设模式。China will carry out pilot child-friendly city schemes in approximately 100 cities with a population of over 1 million and a solid economic base, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said. In advancing the construction of child-friendly cities, local governments should exert their roles to explore differentiated paths and models.
